How To Carry an Orange Dress

December 27th, 2013 by aclazaro

For a lot of people, orange is a hard color to pull off. Surprisingly though, orange is a very flattering color since it instantly adds a natural glow to your skin tone. This spring, designers lit up the runways with a range of vibrant tangerines, neon oranges and amped-up corals that looked yummy and wearable all at once. But if you’re not used to wearing orange, it can seem a little tricky. So here’s how to make sure you’re wearing the right hues at the right time.

If you decide to wear orange near your face, such as a top, a hat or accessories, pick vibrant shades of mango for olive-to-dark skin tone. If you’re a little paler, opt for more muted orange shades such as a sunset color. When trying on garments at the store, just hold up the item near your face; if it makes your eyes pop and brightens up your face, you’ve got a winner. But if it makes you look pale or drab, put it back!

Finding Your Perfect Hairstyle

December 27th, 2013 by aclazaro

There’s nothing I dread more than going to get my hair cut. I’m always scared that she’ll either chop off too much or not enough. On top of that, I can never trust them to do a good job, especially if I’m always switching back and forth to different hairstylists. But even if you’re a skeptical about a certain stylist, there are some things you can do to make sure you get the right kind of hairstyle for your hair. Here’s how:

The first thing to take into consideration is your hair’s texture (fine, medium-smooth, or coarse) as well as shape (straight, wavy or curly). Most people take face shape into consideration first and that’s not the way to do it:  a face shape can suit a number of different styles so don’t base it on that.

Ever since flat irons became available to straighten hair, women seems cannot put hem down. Most women today cannot do anything less without them. In order to have great looking sleek, straight hair, all you need is a nice flat iron to work with your hair.

Blow dryer and your flatiron are your working magic wand to get the straight hair you have always wanted. In order to make it less stressful for your hair, if your hair is still damp, you need to let it dry first using a fan. This is can also save your hair from too much dryness.
