Losing weight does not only mean losing the fats but also losing the excess fluid in your body. Sometimes water retention imbalance makes you heavy. Too much sugar can raise insulin levels, thus decreasing the body’s ability to excrete sodium.

Avoid high sugar foods like soda, and other foods that contain high fructose corn syrup, cakes, cookies, ice cream toppings, including sweetened cereals. So, if you are serious in losing weight, give up that refreshing soda or that sweetened cereals.

There are foods that are high in sodium content, you just have to be careful in eating too much of these. Here are the foods that have high sodium content that could build water weight in your body:

Hot dogs, olives, pickles, frozen foods, ketchup, cheese, deli meats, salted nuts are all high sodium foods. So, be careful in eating these foods to prevent water retention in your body. Thus giving you an imbalance fluid that could add to your weight. Losing weight is not all about losing the fats, it is also regularizing the water in our body. Poor diet with a sedentary lifestyle can interfere with your body’s natural process of balancing the fluid in the body. The result is fluid imbalances. Here are some of the fruits that can actually help to maintain the proper balance of water in your body:

Bananas are natural source of potassium. Potassium is best in helping the body in maintaining the balance of fluids in our body. Other fruits that do that same are raisins, apricots, and avocados.

After having four kids, Heid Klum, the supermodel mom, still have an amazing body in spite of the changes in her body during pregnancy. She also admitted that during the last month of her pregnancy, there are major changes in her stomack because it grows huge including her thighs and butt. However, the supermodel claims that with her proper and clean diet, which was light on carbs throughout her pregnancy saved her from gaining too much.

Klum admitted that she was eating sensibly and working out in order to get back into shape. She also admitted that everything changes when one gets older. So, she humbly told the press that she would not even say that she is really back in shape yet. Being 36 with four kids, Victoria Secret fashion show runway Klum said that VS knows that their fashion show is close to her due date and she is not putting any pressure on herself likewise VS on her.
