If you are the kind of person who sees every simple and normal thing in your environment as an art form, then the Balenciaga Metallic Crocodile Wristlet won’t miss your keen eye. It may look like it won’t be so much purposeful in carrying a good amount of your personal things – for it is something that you would just have to stare and admire once you get your hands on it.
The treatment of the crocodile skin shines beautifully as it is capable of reflecting all the colors of its immediate surroundings. It carries a finish made up of polished turquoise shade accents. In fact, though, it is really quite hard to tell if the accents were made out of lucite or stone. It also comes with an attached box chain strap perfect to fir your wrist for security.
You surely wouldn’t want this art piece stolen right in front of your eyes so you’d better keep it close to you all the time.

American fashion designer Marc Jacobs is also the current Creative Director of the prestigious French design house Louis Vuitton. He is also the head designer for the diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs. Let’s take a peek at some of his bags from his bag collection for Fall/Winter of 2009 – 2010.

Flashy, trendy, edgy, fashion-forward and definitely not just your ordinary handbag. With these collection, we can truly say that he indeed earned his place in the fashion world, not just as the creative director of Louis Vuitton but as well as a true mover in fashion and arts. Makes me look forward to his next collection.

I just *heart* this new stint pulled by the Danish Fashion Institue last Dec.9. It was a showcase of fabrics made from, well, you guessed it – recycled materials. Now this wasn’t your usual eco-friendly apparel made from earth-toned and rich-textured organic materials. This is innovative recycling that can have the same smoothness of silk and glossy sheen of PVC. Even the names used to call the products were done by a real style-genius. Crabion, Ingeo, Ditto and Milkfiber, samples of new fashion-lingo, were the keywords heard in that event. Ingenuous materials like crab byproducts, corn scraps and even powder left over from boiled milk were used to show how traditional textiles can be replaced with innovative new ones. Talk about protecting Mother Nature, these guys really delivered!
Hats off to the show’s 20 designers from five Nordic countries and representative of retailing giants as H&M and Barneys. Each presented two looks made from organic cottons, silks, polyesters and recycled agricultural materials. Asymmetrical cocktail dresses, oversized joker-collared windbrakers and dresses in strappy bodice were just samples of styles the models strut on the runway.
I hope to see more of these soon in malls, too. Who knows what else they could come up with next time. With the buzz that multinational organizations have been creating on being eco-friendly, I’m pretty sure there’d be more of these.

No wonder why she was the posh, the vamp! Donning a sleek yet elegant long gown, the Morticia Adams inspired dress perfectly hugs the body of Mrs. Beckham. Love her or hate her for having a slim body, she was often times mistaken as anorexic because of the stick-like figure often showcased by the media. However, this image simply proves that Victoria still got the curves and of course the radiant skin that anorexics or bulemics don’t! Nothing against the latter aside feeling sorry that they ain’t got to taste the sweetest and most delicious foods ever!
Do you think if someone else would wear this black long dress it would look more fabulous? Say, the likes of Angelina Jolie who currently needs to update her closet nowadays?
Posh is still so posh. And we hope that the other former members of the group who ignited the girl power has already matured into something as elegant as Victoria Adams-Beckham

It was a bit of shock that talented fashion designers are mostly coming from the north like Greta Constatine.
The fashion designer became the darling of Toronto Fashion Scene as his collection took over an Audi dealership to show loyalists and media in supporting her 2010 Spring collection. For a lot of people, orange is a hard color to pull off. Surprisingly though, orange is a very flattering color since it instantly adds a natural glow to your skin tone. This spring, designers lit up the runways with a range of vibrant tangerines, neon oranges and amped-up corals that looked yummy and wearable all at once. But if you’re not used to wearing orange, it can seem a little tricky. So here’s how to make sure you’re wearing the right hues at the right time.
If you decide to wear orange near your face, such as a top, a hat or accessories, pick vibrant shades of mango for olive-to-dark skin tone. If you’re a little paler, opt for more muted orange shades such as a sunset color. When trying on garments at the store, just hold up the item near your face; if it makes your eyes pop and brightens up your face, you’ve got a winner. But if it makes you look pale or drab, put it back!
