Ralph Lauren Vs BoingBoing Blog Fighting Over an Image Ad

Ralph Lauren is in a hot seat because of one of its model in an ad seems to have been excessively photoshoped.

The controversial ad is a long time ad photo where the model, Filippa Hamilton, was in a striking pose and her body seems to be shaped down to an almost emaciated state. Boingboing published an article with the photo of the controversial ad on it and has a caption, “Dude, her head’s bigger than her pelvis.”

Avid readers of BoingBoing commented on the post criticizing RL and the ad. This made RL to retaliate on BoingBoings posts and RL’s legal team to take action on BoingBoing’s post accusing the publisher of the blog of copyright infringement for reprinting the ad.
