Snowman in Africa – a new collection from Gucci

UNICEF funds a lot of programs today particularly in Africa where most people are deprived of clean water to drink and many women and children are affected by HIV. Therefore, Gucci created a collection called Snowman in Africa, which is of course very odd considering that Africa has never felt a taste, or even a drop, of snow.

Frida Gianini, the Creative Director for Gucci, gave most of the handbags a combination of the classic Gucci bag base, a touch of Africa, and something that is not usual in the said country – the Snowman. However, the Snowman in Africa is not just limited to handbags and totes.

There are also other collections as well including key chains, wallet, planners, and many others.

Gucci said that 25 percent of the market price of the items will be given to UNICEF. But they also have a book called Snowman in Africa worth $25 where 100 percent of this would proceed to UNICEF as well.
