507.55-Carat Diamond Found At South African Mine

Petra Diamonds Ltd. says a diamond the size of a chicken egg has been found at a mine northeast of Pretoria, South Africa last September 24, 2009.
It was discovered with three other large diamonds at the famous Cullinan mine where the largest diamond (3,106 carats in the rough) in history was found more than 100 years ago. That finished stone was cut to form the Great Star of Africa and the Lesser Star of Africa and set in Britain’s Imperial Scepter as part of the Crown Jewels, The Associated Press reports.
Johan Dippenaar, the company’s chief executive said that the 507.55-carat gem was of “exceptional color and clarity.” The diamond maybe among the world’s top 20 high-quality gems. No value has been given yet for the diamond, which weighs just over 100 grams but this could be worth in excess of $20m (£12.5m). The big question now is what will the mining company do with this big discovery? Any suggestions???

Moschino Bow-Embellished Dark Navy Wool Peacoat

For someone like me who lives in Asia, the “BER” months are the start of cool weather and I can smell the holidays coming near and near everyday. Then I came across this beautifully made, sophisticated looking coat that is just so perfect for the season. But on the bad side, sorry to say, but it also sorta look like something someone would wear in a funeral. Anyway, this Navy wool double-breasted peacoat has an asymmetric bow embellishment at front. Which by the way look like bows of 3 waiters at a restaurant. Lol. Kidding aside, this Moschino coat also feature an asymmetric button-fastening front, peaked lapels, button-fastening sleeves with strap-detailing, slanted pockets at front and button detail at back. It is made of 100% wool. I’m not sure about you ladies, but with a price tag of $2,170 I wouldn’t dare buy something this expensive. With that being said, I would love to know what you think.
