Next on our list of the Top 10 Designers of the World, is no other than Helmut Lang. The Austrian-born fashion designer who was born in 1956 has first launched his own studio in 1977 and defined “luxe minimalism” with those clingy, stretchy T-shirts of the 90’s. Lang’s use of spare silhouettes, exclusive materials, and the capability to break the current trends of the design world, has positioned him as the forerunner of influential fashion designers. Has a very unique fashion sense that everyone has been looking up to through the years.
Here are some of his pieces. Enjoy!

The dial has 6 timezone windows: one window for local time, one window for seconds & 4 Windows for different four time zones with day/night indicators. This is where the “6 Time zones” come into play.
Four time zones are available for New York, Moscow, Tokyo and Ginza. It’s available in a black crocodile bracelet with an 18k white or pink gold case, 62.7 mm x 40.2 mm with or without 6k diamond crowns. The screw down curved case back has two openings which allow the wearer to see the mechanical movement. The case however, isn’t complete without the 5 crowns and push pieces all in 18K gold. The dial is created with a brushed metal effect with the local time at the 3 o’clock position. Via Swiss

Intricately & creatively painted and sculptured nails complete with flowery rhinestones and lacy stick-ons (known as nail chips) are what Japanese Nail Art is all about. Nail Art has become a big part in Japanese Fashion for women (and some men too). It took a while for nail art to gain popularity in Japan until Japan Nail Association was formed. Veterans members of the Japan Nail Association have been working to promote the industry for the past 24 years. But it is only during the last decade that the industry has begun to boom and nail artists have made their mark on the Japanese fashion industry.
Nails became pieces of art at the Asia Nail Festival in Osaka held last July 12 & 13, 2009. It is a two-day event & the biggest nail trade show & competition in West Japan. Pls. come back for more pictures & infos about this very successful Nail Festival. For the meantime, here are samples of these cool Japanese Nail Art Fashion.
